BREAKING: Did Trump just call into C-SPAN as "John Barron" in order to whine about the Supreme Court?
A man calling himself “John in Virginia, Republican” dialed into the Washington Journal with Greta Brawner and launched into a pitch-perfect Trump impression, complete with the signature cadence, tangents, and insults.

Caller: “Well this is John Barron, and this is the worst decision you’ve ever had in your life, practically. You have Hakeem Jeffries who – he’s a dope, and you have Chuck Schumer who can’t cook a cheeseburger – of course these people are happy, of course these people are – but true Americans will not be happy. You had a woman earlier, I assume she’s a woman, she’s a Democrat, she’s disgraced, she’s devastated . . . ”

Brawner quickly cut in and pivoted to another caller, but not before the internet lost its mind. “John Barron” is Trump’s well-known alias from the 1980s, when he pretended to be his own spokesman and planted stories about himself in the press. The caller was clearly trolling, and the impression was spot-on enough to fool people for a few glorious seconds.

But was it REALLY an imitator? Trump is so pathetic and insecure it's not beyond the realm of possibility to revisit his “greatest hits” playbook and in his rage over the stunning smackdown handed to him by the Supreme Court. You never know . . . could it be him?
Meanwhile, Twitter is exploding with clips and memes: “John Barron is back and he’s voting blue,” “Greta just hung up on Trump’s alter ego,”

“This is the most 2026 thing ever!” commenters quipped.

The prank is blowing up because it perfectly captures the current mood. Trump has turned into such a cartoon character that a fake Trump rant feels like cathartic satire.

It’s juvenile, it’s petty, and it’s hilarious.

It probably wasn't Trump, but maybe it was? Many people are saying this!
