    Beefs:
    Reed sat
    DFS did not
Capela sat, and KAT shat all over us
We could've and should've had Alvarado-- but NOOOO, that rodent bites us again

We'll see if Ime can adjust:
Starting Reed AND STICKING WITH HIM
Giving Capela AND UNCLE JEFF some more burn, including when Sengun is on the floor
Backing Reed up at the PG position with Holiday/JDD
Minimizing Amen and especially others from handling/initiating/playing PG so much, which has clearly been our great turnover fiasco

I guess Mr. "Maybe it's not our year" Stone thought Jose Alvarado or any other available guard before the trade deadline wouldn't have made much difference.

Where did you get Cunningham though, nobody is letting King Cade slip past Number 1......

Or do you want to manipulate the odds as well.....lmao.

And after all, let's just say for argument's sake they get somebody like Cade, they would not tank again, getting a hard arse Ime is poison against taking.

You might just try out Atkinson and Bickerstaff.

If he's going to shoot 100 points below his averages, he's useless and probably not healthy.

Was he injured before signing ??

In the words of Jalen, no losses, just learning lessons. Lessons we haven’t learned **** from.

    https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sp...ston-new-york-knicks-score-recap-21640336.php

Udoka tried to go to a small, switch-heavy lineup with Thompson, Eason, Finney-Smith and Smith Jr. surrounding Durant.

“I think defensively this unit gave us a better chance to stop the bleeding,” Udoka said.

And on the offensive end, Houston went slower and slower and slower.

“We’re just trying to keep the lead,” Thompson said, “and I like that to an extent, but we got to keep moving at the same time.”

Down the stretch, Rockets possessions looked like this: They’d walk the ball up, draining clock in the process, before getting the ball to Durant. The star then waited at the top of the key as players tried to sort out who was supposed to come up and set the screen — sometimes only coming up with six seconds left on the shot clock.

“We sit there and wait, wait, wait and then boom, you’re playing against the late clock. … You’re rushing. You might look up, it’s three to four seconds, the bench yelling at you: ‘Go, go, go,’ ” Durant said. “You put yourself in tough positions.”

Durant went 2 for 7, missing some makeable but difficult attempts late in the shot clock.

He also had three turnovers — one where Knicks guard Jose Alvarado snuck behind him as the forward drove in, another where he just lost his dribble out of bounds and the last one on a charge.

These aren’t new issues for the Rockets, who are one of the worst clutch offenses in the league. Udoka’s lineup decisions down the stretch prioritized defense, an understandable desire with a lead to protect.

But that defensive focus also meant the Rockets played a lineup without much offensive creation around Durant, especially with Finney-Smith still trying to find his way after missing extended time at the start of the season due to ankle surgery. And that choice, along with the snail-like pace of Houston’s offense, became emblematic of a team trying merely to hold into a lead rather than build on it.

“It’s just the same story,” Udoka said. “We’ve lost too many games like this.”

Durant said the Rockets fell into the natural trap of relaxing with a lead, not valuing possessions to the level they should. That can’t happen for a team without a wide margin for error, both within games and in the hypercompetitive jockeying in the Western Conference standings.

The Rockets have a lot of games where they’re up 10 to 14 points and give it away, Durant said, because they don’t play with the “dominant trait” that allowed them to choke out teams that are ready to call it a night.

“It’s a lesson learned, man. Something we can keep growing from,” he said. “I know it’s hard to say but it’s a vital, vital time for us to keep growing, keep getting better.”

He’s right. But the Rockets have had a lot of lessons like Saturday’s — and not a lot of time left to show they’ve learned from them.

What is up with all the Sengun iso-dribbling at the top of the key? I hate that so much. Stop doing that!!!!!!

Why did Reed only play 21 min?

LOL Wondering how Reed and Amen could get them in their sets when they were virtually never in charge and the few times they were the ball did move.

Reed wasn't even in the game since he sat his ass down when he an Amen were doing great defense on Brunson. Ime is so dumb that he can't even own up to the **** he's done. Not even a shoutout to his new boy toy DFS with a whopping 2 points?!

Blowing huge 4th quarter leads is an Ime Udoka staple
