Ime took Reed and Sengun out when NY went on a run. Rockets were still up. He should have regrouped and told Sengun to get his head out of his ass not take him out. Sengun would have calmed down. we have seen Sengun regroup and bring the game home. take reed out, that's fine, but dont bench your 2nd best player who was playing well to that point.

Knicks were going to go on a run. you cant put KD out there as a primary ball handler.

 

That's because you care. I was like that for a long, long time. Now, I don't buy into any of the BS that comes out their mouths. I only believe in what I see with my own two eyes and they have shown me that this is NOT a contending team. There's no way this team as presently coached and constructed can prevail against the likes of San Antonio or OKC in a playoff series. And tonight was a prime example why.

Maybe, trust Reed a little more? Maybe these are the EXACT situations you want your 2nd year guard to experience and learn from? This was the perfect high pressure situation to see if Reed could have helped calm things down like a vet PG and help bring the game home.

 

Jabari was scouted as a "3&D modern big". Though some of his college defensive showing was with actual National Defensive Player of the Year Walker Kessler covering for everyone, allowing Jabari to show "versatile defensive tools"

But Jabari in NBA is suited to guard bigs than "versatility" in guarding wings. The footspeed and reaction might not be there in the perimeter, though he will challenge shots at least. Can see why Ime sticks with him in spite of mediocre looking output

 

What will happen is what you saw in the 4th from the 2nd round on. We might get lucky n play the Spurs in the 2nd round, n the only reason we might beat 'em is because of their inexperience and lack of shooting. Denver n Okc will sweep us easily

 

I know Reed was having a good game. Im just going off of what I've seen in other close games. Both him and Amen do not bring the ball up the court. They are giving the ball up when they get pressured in the back court. I dont know why Ime took him out? Was it, because that Alvardo blow by? I dont know? Everyone makes mistakes and he was having a good game. Im baffled just as you are.
Bottom line is there is not one single leader on this team. Just a bunch of followers with no leader.

 

These are the "opportunities" Reed gets.

 

Ime's ceiling is a college coach with his try-harder mantra. I think he's a fraud, but if the Rockets trade Sengun and a ton of picks for Giannis, everyone stays healthy next year, and Reed continues to develop, he could still stumble @$$ backwards into a championship regardless.

 

I wouldn't be against throwing more Uncle Jeff in time to time. He at least offers a "stretch" option that this team could use.

Capela probably should have played more this Knicks game honestly. Was +12 in 11 minutes. Like it or not, offensive rebounds is part of this team's identity and Capela is still elite in that.

 

Only good positive! We have the nets pick in the deepest nba draft coming up.

DFS can average 3 pts 2 rebounds with shooting 30% and 3pt 24%.

everybody watched that **** on ABC tpp. you got random regular people with antennas tuning into our latest diasterclass.

 

We are not a coherent offensive team. We just throw a poorly fitting set of talents onto the floor.

You can't be a functional halfcourt offense that way. A team needs to have an actual plan to create problems that a gameplanned defense can't solve.

Right now, our halfcourt offense loses on paper before the ball is even tipped. Anytime it looks like it's "working", it's just that we got some luck for a bit.

Losing leads in the 4th is just regression to the mean + the other team playing to their gameplan, which defeats ours.

He should have been in there guarding Towns instead of DFS. DFS was getting abused by Towns and Ime did nothing.

 

Watching Tari bring the ball up and trying to make plays is asking for trouble. Playing him as a guard is insane. You can't blame a complete lack of guards on just Fred's injury.

 

I miss James Harden.

I won't be mad even if Harden brick them all.
