Want to know why this team will be 1-and-done in the 1st round? We could've signed Landry Shamet this off-season. We could've traded for Alvarado. We could easily have any number of competent guards. But no, Ime has this fantasy 4 forwards and a center lineup. Having Amen and Tari as your starting backcourt is the stupidest thing ever.

This team expects Kevin Durant to bail them out wvery close game. I will say again what I said earlier. This team needs a legit pg. Reed is a good bench point guard, but when the game gets close in the 4th quarter and the defensive intensity picks up. Amen and Reed both give up the ball. I dont know if this by design or what. Fred would have lead this team to their sets. Get people the ball where they need it and settled this team. That's what a legit pg does. Alpis post up was at the 3 point line, yeah he blew by towns, but he should never be posting up at the 3 point line. Kevin Durant is 37 year old. He's getting the ball 3 steps past the 3 point line. Which is not an ideal spot, or he's tasked to bring the ball up the court. None of our point guards are leaders in that aspect. This why even getting Lonzo Ball will help. If it doesn't change,then this is all on Ime.

 

Players are a reflection of their system. If the coaches are smart, they will play smart for the most part.

Ime is so incompetent. Please don't expect anything great from this team. It aint happening.

That's what jumps out at me too. It makes absolutely zero sense that DFS had as many minutes as he did. I mean, in some ways he looked maybe a little bit better, but statistically he actually wasn't, and he had no business being out there as much as he was.
