Terrible, sloppy first half, but they’re only down by five points.

 

This is the first game this year that the Coogs have looked unprepared and marginally disinterested. That is incomprehensible. They have more turnovers in the first half than they average per game. ???

 

We are fortunate we aren't down double digits. Hard to put a finger on it but we look like we are playing with rocks in our shoes. They are faster than us, shooting better than us, out hustling us. The only reason it is even close is they have missed three front ends of one and one ft's and overall are only 4-9 from the line.

We can still win this one but we need some major adjustments at half time.

 

He got it before it hit the glass, ball *may* have been barely coming down but it was damn close.

 

Cenac is really slow laterally. Going to be an issue at the next level.

 

This game is brutal, but we're only down three.

 

This team has no Roberts/Shead/Sasser. Feels like the Rockets. Bunch of talent but no leader.

 

Another collapse with less than ten minutes to go… Weren’t they winning by nine against Iowa State and then lost that lead? Now they give up 12 unanswered here.

UH has no way to match up with teams who have quality size - your Michigans, Zonas, etc....

AZ is a better defensive team too, and UH's inability to force turnovers has been a killer

Height, turnover battle, shooting. It was a group effort

 

Went 10 minutes without scoring a basket and couldn't get a defensive rebound in the 2H.

 

So the Iowa State game all over again

 

It’s frustrating, because other than Del’Orso, Arizona didn’t play particularly well. They missed a ton of shots. Houston was just absolutely dreadful on offense. Just horrendous in the last twelve minutes of the game. As bad as I’ve seen. I think this is one of the worst regular season losses I’ve seen in the last few years.

 

Not much to add. Other than we can kiss the one seed goodbye.

 

Win out and win the conference tourney

 

We got bullied. They were the more physical team from the jump. It is what it is.
Starting 5 is really good but we're not good enough to survive multiple guys in foul trouble. Need a lot more from Milos.

Disappointing but sets up a neat must win matchup with Kansas.

 

Final Four dreams are dashed. Don't think this team is up to the big time. Real disappointing.
