A team with actual rich history that made the worst marketing mistake in the history of pro sports by changing their entire color scheme and logo after finally winning championships. “Hey you stuck with us when we sucked or disappointed you…we won 2 titles…now we’re changing all of it and it’s absolute cartoonish garbage that looks nothing like the brand you finallly saw us win with. Thanks for paying!!” Please please please lean into history. Lakers and Celtics don’t change their logo or colors…they may bring in neutral colors (black especially) but they look like the Lakers and Celtics. I’d rather be the Lakers and Celtics than the ****ing Raptors. Pistons went back to theirs. Branding is about identity and connection to something that means something. The only colors and logo that ever mattered for this franchise are the ones you can see in your head as you read this sentence. That’s the point. If there’s an omen here…the Astros went back to their traditional uniforms and reeled off 7 straight ALCS appearances and 2 championships. Please sign the Rockets up for that agenda

I find it interesting that the Rockets store have been selling a lot of the old school ketchup + mustard apparel.
We've got one, they just need to ****ing use the Dunkstronaut, it's great. Use that with the classic lettering from the old championship logo, flip all the blue to mustard and win.
Classic jerseys. Dunkstronaut is the only alt jersey they need, in whatever colors they want/think that will make people buy the most extra merch and make sure Tillman doesn't go broke.
