[Movie] Pixar’s “Toy Story 5”

    Pixar has premiered the first teaser trailer and poster for the upcoming “Toy Story 5” opening June 19th 2026.

    The new movie sees Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs challenged after being introduced to what kids are obsessed with today – electronics.

    The new clip teases the arrival of the villain Lilypad, a high-tech, frog-shaped smart tablet voiced by Greta Lee. Lilypad threatens to take all of Bonnie’s attention away from them during playtime.

    Along with the usual suspects like Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear and Joan Cusack as Jessie, the new film also stars Ernie Hudson as Combat Carl, Tony Hale as Forky, and Conan O’Brien as toilet training tech toy Smarty Pants.

    Oscar-winning filmmaker Andrew Stanton and McKenna Harris co-direct the film which is produced by Jessica Choi.

    The most recent film in the series, “Toy Story 4,” opened in 2019 to over $1 billion at the worldwide box office.

    I wish this weren't happening, but since they are out of ideas, it's easier for studios to warm up leftovers instead of going to the trouble of creating something fresh.

    I don't want my fond memories of Toy Story 1-4 to be spoiled by a desperate, last ditch cash grab. Hope this one measures up to the others.

    Thought 4 was subpar and a money grab, but this new trailer seems promising. Great new take on toys with tech being involved in everybody's lives, even at the earliest stages.

    4 was great, the animation was better than anything ive seen to date. This looks on par with all the other toy story movies, can't wait to see it
