alpi and amen should not be allowed to shoot 3s in a game until they can hit 50% in practice... yer not 'spreading out the d' if they dont bother going out to cover you... lol

our defense is much better when we man up and dont play zone... i'll eat the occasional blow-by to avoid everybody and their brother raining 3s on us...

i cant say i caught any tensions... kd was certainly dialed in... like he had something to prove w 3 blks and only 1 tov...

 

Ball and Miller combined for 28 points on 10-36 (2-18 3s) shooting.

 

At this point it's a coaching issue, but Ime doesn't want to tell them to stop shooting.

 

I sort of think the opposite, I suspect they already are hitting them in practice. If they don't figure out how to shoot them in games we're starting over from scratch. Take a few of them per game, even if it costs us some possessions

If they r hitting them in practice - fine... but i am seeing no proof of this in the game... id much rather have amen running around by the rim than spotting up from an area where he is shooting < 20%....

At one point in the second half literally all but one person who set foot on the court had outrebounded him. It was really a disgraceful and unexplainable effort. I've seen that from him twice recently, which makes me believe that there's something not right with him. His effort has been lacking. That's not normal.

This doesn't make any sense how do you expect them to get better if you don't let them shoot. We all know this season is over and we are not winning. I want to see Alpi and Amen shooting 15 threes each every damn game. Doesn't matter if we win or lose. Its a developmental year.

Especially Amen, the way he is being guarded right now he should be jacking it up every damn time.

 

This must've been what coaches told Westbrook when he first entered the league.

If we got this version of KD every night, this team would be undefeated the rest of the way. The way he played D yesterday was 70% of prime KD.
