Why is it not surprising that DD believes everything he reads on the internet and takes it way too seriously.
Yeah, everything he said was correct. Sengun can’t shoot or defend. Reed can’t defend. Jabari is just there hanging around. Amen can’t shoot. Our core is really bad compared to OKC and Spurs. Keep KD but dump the rest
FVV is not the difference between 1st round appearance and championship. Punted this season, may as well punt next season and see if any of the young guys acually have that dawg in em.
Run it back. Team has lost a lot of games they should have won. Just add a piece or two. Core is still super young… ride out KD, his contract comes off the books in two seasons anyway… at that point the core will still be pretty damn young. No need for drastic changes unless team can land a top 5 player whose still young.

He's 37 yrs old! Why were we going after a 37 yr old if we are not 100% committed to win a championship?! Stone had plenty of time to make roster adjustments. Look at the cavs. When they traded for james, mitchell is already in his prime, mobley is a defensive beast.. that"s a team ready for a player to make a splash. What are we doing?! If I'm Durant, I'm pissed too. He's wasting a season not competing! At this point what we do with Durant depends whether or not he wants to stay or not. If we are committed to the youngins then we trade him. If we want to win.. then we roll the dice and build a superteam!
Let’s just see what happens with the playoffs and if Stone gets good offers in the summer for KD, I hope he considers that too. But I fully expect the market to be fairly non existent and in that case it’s best to run it back with a fully healthy team and also see if Sengun and Amen can make strides this offseason on their shooting woes. He’s basically got one more season after this one then he’s a large expiring in his final year when he’ll he nearly 40, and likely ready to retire. If there’s no great deal, and we just run it back next season it’s not the end of the world.
Doubt anyone who could actually move the needle was available for a worthwhile price. Injuries happen unfortunately. yeah KD is old but the dude is still an elite scorer. No reason to think he won’t be good next year if healthy…
If he played like he did tonight every night, where he actually competed on defense, no issues......maybe his tweeting guilted him into it...who knows. DD
