https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/02/orioles-rumors-jordan-westburg-elbow-injury-mri.html Orioles may have lost both Holliday and Westburg for an extended period of time. Paredes for Mayo and Kjerstad seems to make a lot of sense to me. Beavers would be an awesome get but he’s probabiy not available.
I agree, I will be holding my breath all year that Yordan and Hunter do not hit any hiccups AND that they are at the top of their game............that's a lot to ask but it is what it is
Been thinking about this, I might've missed perspectives/interviews on this but did Brown or Espada mention any chances of Esok playing LF?
This is probably true for every team. Even as loaded as the LAD are, losing Ohtani probably costs them 5-10 games.
The lineup will be fine. The team will go as far as the pitching, health will take them. The starters will be better next year IMHO.
Yeah, that’s what happens when Rodgers, Short, Guillorme, etc. are getting a heavy dose of ABs. If Paredes, Pena, and Yordan all miss significant time again, they’re going to suck again.
Your best hitter played 48 games Your second best hitter played 125 Your third best hitter played 102 Your fourth best hitter was Correa who was only here for 51 games after the trade So our top 4 hitters played 326 of a possible 648 games And yea, if our best players miss 50% of our games this year, we will suck again
I can’t comment on 2025- he was hurt and I didn’t see much of him. I can comment on 2024. He was quietly very productive outside of Oracle and was getting very good swings. I would assume he is more concerned about playing time than getting every dollar. If the Astros are optimistic- then tell him he will play everyday. Downside would be he AND Walker are washed…. But then you put Paredes at 1st and let the kids play LF.
