I agree, I'm just saying we as fans gripe about coaching, and sometimes I think we don' t have the right personnel. Golden States board is filled with a bunch of Steve Kerr is the Warrior's reason to their struggles. Toronto got rid of Dewayne Casey after 1st round failures with Rozen and Lowry. He was coach of the year one of those seasons as well. Udoka deserves a lot of criticism and I dont really know whats going on with the team. Lack of focus, no leader, not enough high iq. They need to start playing for each other, and not playing for themselves.
"A two aint gonna kill ya" Almost made me cry lol These guys needed a bucket really bad and was just running for end to end chucking 3's. Steph and Lebron really killed this game. All the player movement and overdependence on threes is not entertaining at all.
I was thinking about that during the rising star game. But then I thought, "Well, Melo would probably teach the guys to do his signature step back long midrange shot." LOL.
Absolutely incorrect, “one mistake” here is a deliberate and calculated move to sneak out with a team members wife knowing full well it could sabotage the team. He didn’t keep it a secret and go behind everyone’s back because it was a mistake…it was premeditated…it’s a severe case of bad judgement. To simplify it , he thought with his dick knowing full well it could sabotage the team. You might as well pull out the “1 mistake” for every transgression We don’t grade people on seeding. Seeding is used to position yourself for maximum post season success. The 07 mavs were a failure. The rockets last year were a failure. There is no planet where we end the season and pretend it was great because we got “x” seed. The pinnacle of said post season success is actually winning a ring…which the team Udoka was on coincidentally pushed towards right after giving him the boot. Interestingly a low seed with a ring actually gets you more props since the path is actually harder. you’re centered on some pretty illogical assumptions here .
I know you’re not being honest. And I know you have made several mistakes in your life and that there were people who gave you grace and another chance. Let’s stop the ridiculously high expectations that we can’t honor or fulfill ourselves. Many men were terrible husbands or fathers but were still good at what they did for a living including Einstein. What are you talking about? Mazzula didn’t win a ring the next season. Did you not read what I wrote? He was a higher seed (2nd) than Udoka’s finals team and lost to a 7th seed heat team in the conference finals and didn’t even make it to the finals with the same exact team. The Celtics retooled and they brought in Jrue and Porzingis in 23-24 and that brought them the championship which I have no doubt Udoka would win it if he were coach that year with that roster. No doubt.
You phrased the first part well ngl, and Udoka should have people like you in his corner. That being said I see him as a narcissist as others have pointed out. Otherwise the grace part you mentioned is true. so we will have to agree to disagree
Plenty people say Durant is correct, that the team is mentally weak, dumb, soft not tough. (Even saying that Durant's correctness might as well make him "the GM") Though that's the same things that Udoka already criticizes of the team. Meaning, you cant credit & elevate Durant for his callouts, but then bash Udoka who says the same things. This Durant saga actually shows that NBA head coaching is a tough job in managing all the king size egos & weirdos & dumdums. Udoka does not have the X's & O's, the in-game offensive strategies. But he got professional buy-in from villian Dillon Brooks & teammate dry jumper, baby mama drama Jalen Green who played every game that Udoka coached him. While Durant is acting like he's slumming it with the peasants, undermining everyone
I do put most of the blame on the players for last night's loss when you have that many turnovers. Also, Knicks have two bucket getters in Brunson and KAT. We just have KD. And the young guys aren't mentally strong enough to keep it together in the 4th quarter which is why FVV and Brooks were sol crucial to our success last year.
We averaged 26.8 pts in the fourth quarter with 3.78 Turnovers in 2024/2025. This year so far we are averaging 27.5 pts and 3.5 TOV’s. So not sure where FVV and Brooks were so crucial offensively. Net differential in 4th quarters in 2024/2025 was -.56 points in 2025/2026 it is -.218. Looks like defense is better as well. What it comes down is that Ime sucks in 4th quarters whether he has FVV or not.
Silas was a horrible coach and then Ime gets handed two Vets to run the show and set some standards and produces a .500 season and a 52-win 2nd seed (fool’s gold), gets a 6 year extension and goes full tard. Maybe Durant just mis-typed. It was probably Patrick that forced the Durant trade and the Ime extension. I don’t think Stone has the balls to do either one of his own volition. Tito needs to find another hobby for his son and fire Stone/Ime.
