KD’s teams of choice last offseason were Miami, San Antonio, and Houston. Wonder where else he’d be interested in playing? He passed up playing in Minny and GS so those are probably off the table. San Antonio probabky doesn’t want him and Riley is one of the stingiest GMs in the league, so we couldn’t expect that to be a good offer. Wonder what other potential matches are out there. Maybe the Knicks? They don’t really have good picks or anyone that’s not overpaid. I’m hoping Milwaukee with Giannis but Wisconsin is cold. Maybe Atlanta?

Yup, which is why I don’t buy the BBS idea that we’d get a whole lot back. Honestly not even sure they’d get a 1st. Salary filler like Atlanta just got for Trae.

    Killed a Golden State deal
    Killed a Minnesota deal

I was gonna say at least he’s signed for 2 years and can’t hold his contract/impending free agency over anyone’s head but nope, it’s a 1+1. Then again, would a team really care if a 38/39/40 left? Oh, you don’t want to be here and are gonna walk? Well we don’t care. We want you for a just a year anyways.

    Miami
    Atlanta as you said.
Chicago? They’re kinda just wandering around aimlessly.
Orlando? Again, kinda just stuck in that middle ground.
Portland? Not Seattle but it is the PNW. They’d probably try to send back Grant and not Holiday. Mehhh.
Toronto? lol Got the fake KD (Ingram) and again, send back their unwanted contracts (Poeltl and/or Quickley)
Philly? Would send back Paul George. Mehhh.
Back home to DC? Nah, they got their two big acquisitions and I don’t want Trae or AD coming back this way.
Minnesota? You’re going to Minnesota whether you like it or not! lol We want you for 2 years and go retire! Randle mehhh.

    Charlotte (they’d be dumb to unless they really wanted off LaMelo — 2026-27 $40,770,520 | 2027-28 $43,582,280 | 2028-29 $46,394,040)
    LAC (trying to get younger)
LAL (probably getting off the LeBron wagon, don’t see them hopping back on 38 year old Durant)
New York (ehh could (see it) but I couldn’t)
Would Brooklyn take him back? lol (especially if they don’t get a top 4 pick)

    Boston
    Cleveland
    Dallas
    Denver
    Golden State
    Indiana
    Memphis
    Oklahoma City
    Phoenix
    Sacramento
    San Antonio
    New Orleans
    Utah

Which team would talk themselves into 38 year old Kevin Durant?

All for naught and gonna park his ass right where he is (here).

I forgot Toronto was after him last summer too. They have a new GM who may not even want KD, they may not even be a viable suitor. Yeah, the list of places is slim, so got to keep return value expectations low. But I would hope at least a 1st.

If things go south, Hypothetical! Hopefully it wont.

and rockets seem to explode.... this is probably going to turn out like the scottie pippen thing but i hope not!

personally this seems to be a now a overwelming problem with Durant sense his departure from winning a chamionship with Warriors,
yet you hope it dont go sour here this quick.
He wanted to retire here in Texas, but you could send him to Minny this offeason
Maybe this was obstacle to get asset that could rid are self of Jalen Green, to get better assets when FVV comes back,

Better suited if this season was a wash, where he gets traded to Maybe where he should of gone in the first place.

    Minnesota.

    Rockets Trade :
    Kevin Durant ,
    TimberWolves Trade : DonteDiVincenzo
    , Naz Reid, J.Beringer - 2026 1st rd Pick

This makes Wolves way more Heavy playoff team, where he could help them compete for ring against OKC.

Rockets could continue to rebuild around Amen and Sengun with this and improve the roster

Also they could trade Capela, and DFS for shooters.

DonteDiVincenzoand J. Beringer are Eason Replacements.

Naz Reid - Sengun - Adams
    Sengun - Jabari Smith
    Amen Thompson , J Beringer
    Reed - Free Agent/Trade - Draft
    DonteDiVincenzo- FVV -

IMO New York is the spot that makes the most sense.

They have an urgency to win now, they probably wouldn’t care about the baggage, and if they don’t make the Finals this year their current team build of Brunson + role players doesn’t work — they’d need a better 1b. KD has been interested in the past.

KD for Bridges straight up is what I could see working. Bridges on his new contract is just a fairly paid good player now, not the “5 firsts” guy anymore.

I wouldn’t mind Bridges on a re-tooled version of this team (we’d still be in search of a #1 though).

It is still TRUE, KD centric teams aren't good enough, he needs to take a backseat.

And Ime blaming Reed and Amen for it, is a joke, DO YOUR ****ING JOB IME - COACH EM UP !

I think Miami is probably it. Not sure how hot they would be to get Durant though. I’d love to have that NOP pick, but I can’t see Atlanta trading it for Durant, maybe Sengun though.

KD has had horrendous body language this year

every time in the clutch, there will be multiple instances where he looks fed up and is throwing up his hands or showing some other form of visible negative reaction

seems to me like he doesn’t respect the offensive game of Amen/Sengun/Jabari so if they try something in a close game and it doesn’t work, he gets very agitated and annoyed

I didn’t see him doing this with Steph, Kyrie, Harden, or Book, but with our team, it’s every time

if they don’t get him the ball, miss a shot, or turn it over, KD will have a bad reaction for everyone to see
