I agree that the Houston system and coaches have not put him in the best position to excel. Once opposing DC started game planning for him, his performance declined. Throw in some marginal OC's, a defensive-minded head coach, and a GM in denial, and he is screwed. And the haircut won't fix it. If I were CJ, I would explore a fresh start with more support and guidance..

Yes, 130 sacks and multiple concussions have taken a toll in my opinion. I don’t know if it’s reversible or not.

 

The Texans will eventually get an offer they can’t refuse. If we can get a 26 1st, 2027 first, and maybe 2027 3rd, probably include a decent player in a position of need. I don’t think Caserio would say no to that type of deal.

7 turnovers in 2 playoff games has nothing to do with run blocking. Now if you want to say the Texans need to invest so heavily in the draft , FA on the offense that you're going to be thin on depth defensively I'm good with this. But this would be putting a lot of unearned faith in CJ. This is why in the 1st 4 rds I expect 2-3 defensive players being their picks.

No if I was picking I would draft like this, all of these guys wouldn't be reaches IMHO.

I’m not sure I can watch another yr of Stroud wasting a Super Bowl defense. Are we really gonna do this again? God help us. Completely incapable of learning from mistakes. We deserve what’s coming.
