Luka could atleast lead a team to the finals without having a 3 or 4 allstar team. KD just like Leborn has to have a 3 star team to do anything. Unless its the bubble ofcourse.

 

Get him gone. You can’t be great when you have the wrong people on the bus…and sometimes it looks crazy to kick people off the bus. But when they’re not going the same place you’re going, you gotta kick ‘em out. I don’t miss Jalen Green at all…I think you all know what I think of him. But **** this noise. KD is a great player and a Hall of Famer…but get him gone asap.

Also, this is not an endorsement of anyone we traded or anyone we still have on our roster. I’ve run a business for about 25 years and been part of organizations along the way. You can’t have this around. Has nothing to do with opportunity cost. You ain’t moving forward with this around.

 

But he isn't a two way player and never, NEVER hustles back on D after he turns it over, which is a lot.

Get what you can for him, research if you can void his contract due to the tweets and move on.

LMAO Durant is the only dude on this team that can routinely put the ball in the basket and beat someone off the dribble. The Turkish God is a turnstile on defense and spends a lot of his time crying to the refs like he's prime LBJ, Reed is 4'11, just as awful on the defensive end as Sengun and often takes shooting lessons from Amen. Jabari has zero skills and now we have learned he might be r****ded which is concerning. The only piece this team has worth building around is Amen even though he can't shoot past 4 feet.

 

What will it help KD do? Will he stop turning the ball over and sulking like a lil b****?

 

His TO's suck but he is literally it on the offensive end. His TOs aren't the biggest issues this team has at the moment.

im there. Dude’s been a rocket for 2 seconds and can’t help but talk sh#t about teammates 15 yrs his jr behind their backs? I thought it was only fair to withhold judgement, but if he and the org are gonna pretend it didn’t happen, I can only assume there’s something to this. I think it’s destructive behavior and I don’t want to root for a a guy like that. I gave him a fair shake, I wasnt a KD hater; i think he’s been as advertised on the court. But I don’t care for players who disrespect their teammates behind their backs. I’d rather lose with “our guys” than introduce that kind of poison into the team. It matters if this burner stuff is true and if that’s the case he’s not good for this team. Not gonna pretend this is okay behavior. They don’t seem like they know how to use KD properly anyway. Very disappointing season and there’s more than enough blame to go around.

 

This really undermines Ime in a way as well. If he doesn't come down on KD like the Wrath of God for this, he will have lost the rest of the locker room. You need a whole team to win a playoff series, not just one aging superstar. You can't be talking about toughness all the time when you can't be tough on your superstar.

 

Brother we were a good team last year you know that right. You guys let KD fool you lol Just like the Suns. I was told they wouldnt score enough without KD lol They are a better team without him and Jalen Green and even Devin Booker has missed time. KD isnt everything to our offense it has actually looked better on the nights he was injured.

That’s a really good point. I know people here hate Ime, but I’ve coached tourney hoops for a long time and I appreciate the **** out of him. I’m interested to see what he does now…not knowing what he’s allowed to do.

Yep..this is how organizations (companies, churches, nonprofits, teams) fail….seen it too many times. There’s a name for this kind of behavior and it never ever never works well in a team environment.

 

Can Ime actually come down on KD like that? I thought superstars (even former) in the NBA generally weren't as at the whims of the coach as their peers?

 

I have to post this a lot lately. Sengun isnt a turnstile and his defensive rating is better than Seven Adams is. Sengun is actually the backbone of the team leading it in rebound assists and tied for steals with Amen. No one does more for this team than he does. Its sad that you dont see it. Finally theres no center in the league that is an above average defender AND leads their teams in rebounds assist steals and second in points. That doesnt exist even Wemby doesnt do that. Joker averages a trip dub but is far behind sengun in defensive rating. you ask for too much from one guy at age 23.
