I really respect @The Cat but just can’t get with his comparisons on this issue. Someone says why didn’t we have Fred insurance? And he’s like, well if KD went down people wouldn’t say why didn’t we have KD insurance. I just think that’s a ridiculous comparison. Fred is no KD. We didn’t give up our best shooter, a talented prospect, and the #10 pick for Fred. He missed 22 games last yr and didn’t play well. Our backcourt was a big weakness last yr. There were opportunities to address it this offseason. It’s a fair question and that’s not a good response.

Also he keeps comparing the KD tweets to what he did in Golden State and points out they won a title after that. But that GS team was winning and playing historic ball. We are not playing well and are just above 500 the last two months. He didn’t call his teammates r****d. It’s not a valid comparison. Winning is why it didn’t matter as much.

he keeps saying it just matters about how it affects Bari and Sengun. That partially correct, but what about the rest of the team? No one wants a teammate that talks **** about teammates behind their backs. I’m sure other players feel affected. It’s a bad thing. It kills trust and chemistry.

so I just think there’s a lot of spin coming from credentialed rockets media and i think it’s misplaced. I’m disappointed. No disrespect because these are great guys and they work hard and care about the team, but I just don’t like the attempt to justify and defend what shouldn’t be defenseable. We have Ime and KD for that apparently. We don’t need our media to carry that water too.
