Genuinely think he would excel and he'd have the opportunity to take more risks. It's redundant to have him on the floor with Durant - they should both be guarding PF's.

Media: "KD, is it true? Say it isn't so, KD."
KD: "Look, it's all untrue. Media bu**sh*t."
Media: "Then why did you need a press conference with your coach at your side?"
    KD: "Uuuuhhh......"

I had to find a gif of a black man sweating, just for semi-accuracy, but I'll add Robert Hayes from "Airplane!" (guess from the same movie I could add Leslie Nielsen's "Pinocchio" moment):

Not sure what you're missing, that's not what it shows at your link nor is it in the official NBA stats I gave you.

An average shooter makes 36% on 4-5 attempts. On average they're open about 50% of the time. Jabari has never achieved that in his life. He's not even achieving that if you only count his open shots.

Weren't you just a few hours earlier saying the defining factor is whether he'd deny it or not?

What? Not a fan of a guy that is likely a high-level role player (Amen Thompson) that can defend, rebound and finish but cannot shoot to save his life?
Not a fan of a guy that is a mid-level role player that doesn't do anything above average (Jabari Smith), and a guy that can take over practices and hit shots but most of the time looks like he is trying out for Strake Jesuit High School (Reed Sheppard?).

Still not sold? How about if we throw in a center that cannot protect the paint, cannot shoot from the perimeter and has seen his efficiency go down each year - but is good enough to tease you (Alperen Sengun)?

We can throw in a 30-year-old point guard with limited athleticism and size, coming off a serious injury and a no trade clause?

No? What about a 37 year old Hall of Famer that now plays for his own amusement?

I am sure that core can beat OKC and SA long term.... right?

Don't worry - the front office has zero coaching or playing experience, and the assistant coaches were picked up from the Home Depot parking lot.

    Still not sold?

I assume it uses NBA stats. It's a nice visual and shows that on wide-open, open, and tight shots, he's about league average. The very tight category is too small a sample to consider (only 2 shots).

Bari came in as an elite 3P shooter. An average performance is not what was expected. His shooting is about average, and that matches my eye test.

Why is the Houston media staring at him like p*****s lol

    PR: “Go ahead guys.”
    *media silence*
PR person (or maybe Vanessa there) had to ask “Any questions?” And it was the new beat reporter.

    Yes - yes he does.

Whatever, I suspect if I were KD, I would think I was surrounded by a bunch of morons as well....... he needs to get better at covering his account. Maybe post under Jason Collier or Eddie Griffin to fool people.

Our standings over the last couple years say otherwise. Ofcourse since KD is here all credit for any success will go to him and thats why people all of sudden hate our core lol

Are we really going to count SA? There's no way Wemby is going to stay injury free long term and Fox is an awful contract. They have a nice hot start going but their HC and team are unproven in the playoffs

Wouldn't Castle fit in the guy that can't shoot to save his life prototype as well?

Same team that took Harper over Kon by the way

HE DEFLECTED. HE AVOIDED THE QUESTION.

    Since we're using all caps.

He deflected. He didn't answer. That isn't a denial. He avoided the question. So why do people keep saying the burner account is a bogus issue?

"I'm not here to get into that twitter nonsense" = "yep, I have childish burner accounts where I bash teammates and other NBA players."

There are far more important things in the world, but KD did anything but exonerate himself.

Hopefully the team can just put this behind them and win as much as possible the rest of this season.
