If this turns out to be true. Nobody is going to trade for this guy. If the Rockets were smart, and they’re not, if this is true they would look for a way to cancel his contract and just eat the trade. At this point, you will have to either eat a worse contract like Paul George or add a good pick to unload him for trash. He will be 38 next year and has blown up the last 3 teams he has been on. Nobody is going to want him for anything but draft picks coming to them. His trade value is way less than what we sent out for him. It’s hindsight for sure. I thought it was a good trade at the time. Now I think it set us back a couple of years. Not as bad as the Ime extension, but egregious as hell.

No he comes off as a dick not just to our players but to the league. People hate him over this and the only reason he isnt more hated is because half the people think he didnt say it. I dont like KD and dont want him on the team so him confessing to this is to perfect reason to trade him asap. Either way I hope they trade him in the off season.
I don't even know if it's true is the thing. I lean toward it being true personally, but it falls into the category of "believable rumor" for now. I do believe the account is his though (it's not proven, it just seems likely). I just don't have enough evidence to know whether he actually said all or even any of the stuff that was posted unless he admits it or we get some kind of independent corroboration.
....trade Jimmy Buckets for KD. Money works out, the Warriors are going to continue to throw money at that team until Steph retires, and KD is "available" unlike Jimmy and you shave a year off what we would owe KD. The you move Butler as an expiring at the trade deadline next year and hope for the best. Butler never wears a Rocket uniform in this scenario. I know KD didnt want to go to GS earlier, but given he just bad mouthed most everyone in Houston - does he still want to be here? At this point he has to growth the **** up and play for whomever will have him(which is very few teams). You can almost threaten to not play him a la John Wall if you really want to call KD's bluff. The last thing KD wants is to see his career end with him sitting at home for two years getting paid, but not playing..and missing out on the ability to get himself further up those "all time" lists. For a guy like KD, that would be SUPER humiliating and well within our rights as a team.
I don’t know the legality of any of this, but is there any way that the Rockets could sue the poster and the platform to reveal the owner of the account? I would definitely hire a private investigator to find out and if it is Durant attempt to void his contract for actions detrimental to the team. Jabari almost certainly could. It’s think it would be pretty easy for Jabari to get a settlement or even win a case that this is libelous and injurious to him from a sponsor perspective.
Thankfully, they're probably a lot less gullible than the average CF member so they'll likely move on without having to waste that much money or cause made up drama for nothing lmao.
Nothing to see here We knew he had a burner account before so where is this faux outrage coming from He enjoys it, so who cares If Jabari and Sengun get into their feelings and continue to play like ass, where is the cap?
Less worried about the KD twitter drama and more worried about the lack of chemistry. Could it get worse? Sure. But what it is isn't good enough for more than a 2nd round exit, at best. Sometimes a little drama sparks the fire that's needed to make a run. Maybe these young guys take it as a challenge to prove him wrong.
I don't know what is true. In this day and age, even if you did say something, you can always blame it to fake media. This is called liar's dividend. You only need to put something out to get people to believe it. But you also only need to put doubt in the genuineness of something to get enough people to defend you.
I just want them to get rid of Durant. I don’t care if it’s true or not or whether it is causing any locker room issues. Durant is a bad fit and his age and contract has set back our re-build by 2 years. We ain’t winning sh*t with him so cut your losses now. Same with FVV, Ime, and Stone.
