No there ****ing isn't a chance at all. If he says it's him, Jabari legit punches him in the face, Bari's a hot head, he will not just be like "ok cool" to a guy he thought was a mentor calling him a r****d, come on now.

 

Nah it gives no credibility, as a HR professional it's literally standard procedure. We call a meeting, address it with mediation and management there to put structure on it and then it can be dismissed as nonsense, or if there's truth to it, addressed preferably before it escalates to actual violence, police and huge cost to the business. Any kind of office rumour that has the potential for disruption is typically dealt with that way if you're covering your back as a company.

 

Also, shameless plug, but I did talk about the KD burner allegations today (fairly similar to the post above) on Robert Land's show. Starting at about the 5:00 mark.

I can't speak for others, but I'm certainly not averse to talking about it, and it absolutely could have an impact. I'd just rather wait until we see what matters (i.e. reactions from the people involved) to discuss it at much length, particularly when we're gonna see a lot in literally the next two days. No reason to rush and assume when we're almost there, anyway.

This quote really reminded me of how I used to approach basketball when I was younger, but for me it was making sure my passes were really crisp and perfect so the good shooters would make the shots I couldn't haha.
