I think CJ to Cleveland would be great for both. Cleveland's new coach is undoubtedly infinitely more qualified to coach QB's than any of the Houston coaches. Houston needs a veteran QB that doesn't need any coaching, pass protection, open receivers, or running game.
Can't see CLEV trading for another Texan QB sfter the Watson fiasco, their fan base would crucify them. But yeah I'll take #6, a 3rd in 2027 and a player if they think he's their man. I'd would then look at moving that pick for draft capital in 2027.
CJ isn't going anywhere, you rarely find a QB who you can win with, you have to at least try and give him some help before you move away........look at Sam Darnold, great O Line, best WR in the league and Walker as your feature back and Sam just manages it, that's what CJ needs.....he needs some stability and stars around him and then let him manage the game. He is not Josh Allen who can overcome an inferior line, he needs HELP and WTF, he has had 2 different VANILLA OC`s who are doing him no favors. I don't look at CJ with rose colored glasses anymore but he is a good QB who needs HELP........................we were 31st in the league in salary on the offense and 7th on D (per 610) and if Demeco gave a rat's ass about the offense we could have been in the dang SB
Not against trading Stroud, but I need to know what his replacement plan is, and don’t say Davis Mills. Don’t let go of one vine before you grab the next
I love me some money Mills but can we be real, he is not a starting QB in the NFL, he is a GREAT back up, or a stop gap as he was previously, but let's stop saying that would help improve this offense as QB1
What if Minn offers us Nine, T.J. Hockenson (who may be released) plus 2 1s and a day two and day three pick? Do we trade CJ?
If the Raiders offered you 1st overall for your 1st and 2nd/Stroud would you do it. I would highly consider.
