I think KD should lean into this, he should come in and say....Yep, that is me, I was frustrated and vented with some friends, it was never meant to come out. I was frustrated by a particular game or loss, and was venting - like we all have. I should have never put it down on PRIVATE social media, but I did, and I am sorry. I was frustrated, because I know we are a championship team if folks would get out of their own way - Trust in our abilities, and play hard on both ends. I chose this team because I believed in what you had built last year, and for some reason, we seem to have forgotten how a team with that identity can thrive. You guys can hate me for what I said, or you can ask me why I said it - and I will do my best to explain why I was frustrated that night - TRUST ME - none of what was said was anything more than 1 night's frustration, but there are a lot of things we ALL could be better at doing, myself included. I will start by saying, I am sorry for putting this out there, and hope we can come together and grow from this, no more self doubt, no more lazy play - just play together as a team - if we can do that, it doesn't matter what anyone else says, we will be successful. The only thing he needs to do is deny owning that account. There’s nothing to gain for anyone if he confesses to being the person who wrote them. Once he denies it and everything settles down, we should trade him for future picks if he still has any market value.

Totally disagree - authenticity is the key - denying and lying only undermines anything you say in the future. If, and it is a big if, he really wants to repair it. This could be orchestrated to get him out of Houston.....with KD, you just never know. DD
Request a trade? IMO he destroyed 3 legacies going to GS in the first place, then failed in Brooklyn and failed miserably in Phoenix. And don't forget Draymond telling him "we don't need you." I think we just figured out why. If I'm one of our guys I've lost all respect for him. What he can do is retire.

He needs to get into some sort of 12-Step Program. His inability to use social media in a responsible manner is a real problem that he does not seem to be able to get under control on his own. Tilman and Stone are probably working on an intervention as we speak.
Totally agree with this. There's nothing he can really say that's going to take back calling Jabari a r****d. There's no coming back from that, so he needs to lie his skinny little ass off for the benefit of everyone. Claim he was hacked. That's what he's going to do anyway.
It’s not repairable if it’s true. No one can trust someone like that. Trust is a pretty damn important part of being a good team. best advice for KD if it’s true: play hard and stay off social media. Prepare for your next stop. but if it’s fake, he needs to be out there doing his best to make sure his teammates know, and spending extra time and attention strengthening relationships with his teammates. There’s still a lot broken with this team, but he can only control what he can control.
