It’s a real conundrum. This crap doesn’t really matter, it’s just basketball. Foreign actors are already using these kind of spoofs to influence our elections and possible foment revolution. Look how many people assumed this was real immediately. What if a fake post causes an already inflamed situation like the Minnesota issues to produce multiple murders. Like I said, I don’t know how you keep this kind of activity from becoming serious without infringing on freedom of speech. Biden tried it and Trump is trying to sue his way into censorship. I don’t have the answers, but it is certainly something with the potential to seriously impact our democracy. Hopefully there is some technological way to minimize possible catastrophic events without using draconian methods like when Iran stopped their revolution by blocking the internet. Sorry, now back to the important stuff. Fire Ime and Stone and trade Durant, please.

I don't know if Durant did this or not, but my gut says that he probably did. I do know that the team chemistry has obviously been off for a while. These guys don't mesh together at all recently, and anyone with eyes can see that. Hopefully KD will address things, even if he has to lie to get in front of it, because you can't disrespect forty percent of your starting teammates and expect things to just go back to normal.

By the way, If I have to choose between Sengun and Smith and the rest of this "shitty ass" team, or pick Kevin Durant, that's not a hard decision.

Serious question b/c I don't know Twitter well enough...would a scrolling video give away the identify of who in the chat is leaking it? In a way the still images don't? Is there anything like that which would be in play?

B/c the part that bothers me is that for all the obvious things you listed the counter-argument is nearly as simple. A KD tweet saying "yall MFs really falling for this fr?" takes 5 seconds and would be remarkably on-brand. And it's possible but it would be quite a feat if someone w/ the impetuous and narcissistic nature Durant exhibits online is patiently waiting lol

And the year b4 when these guys could hardly order a beer KD's Suns were 8 games better than the Rockets. 162 games is definitely not nothing.

He's not wrong. I mean KD has done this before and on live tv everyone could see him typing like a mad man on his phone. It could be him or it could not be him but its sus. I expected stuff like this from him so im not surprised. If its not this it will be something else. With him comes drama. Just like a lot of these old heads who are now journeymen. They arent happy they dont have a home so they are divas lashing out and jealous. Kawhi Harden Lebron KD Kyrie etc drama drama drama then missed games and sitting out followed by more drama. I’ve never done group chat in X, but I write group chat software. I don’t know of any group chats that display your name or avatar with your text bubble, since you know who you are and it takes up unnecessary space.

So anyone with actual access to the DM can scroll without their name appearing. You just turn on screen recording of your phone, scroll, stop recording, post on Twitter. If you need to cut off the top, in the event your name shows in a title bar (which it doesn’t in iMessage) cropping recordings is super easy in the built-in photo app of iPhone.

It’s so easy, that’s why ppl are responding to these posts of screenshots asking for a screen recording.

I’m talking about people falling for tweets talking about how the Rockets opened up an investigation in January because they saw KD tweeting from a burner in practice and other stuff like that, and you’re talking to me about how KD has had burners before…
