I think only the AZ game is critical. Win that and Coogs have a two game lead over the entire conference. Meaning we can take a loss and still be alone in first place.. Two losses and we are still tied for first. And remember those teams are playing each other,so they will absorb losses too. But a loss to AZ drops us into a tie for first but AZ with holding the tie breaker. So we would have to out play them the rest of the way. Az does have a more difficult remaining schedule than UH. I smell a third conf championship. Speaking of which, anybody know where to buy last year's back to back conference champs tee?
We're winning at least 2 of these 3....probably all of them. The Coogs were always going to be exponentially better at the end due to our youth and chemistry. With the emergence of the frontline, Sharp's shooting coming back to where it should be, Uzan getting more comfortable without the ball in his hands as much, and the growth of the kids off the bench, we're rounding into form at precisely the right time. Perhaps most importantly, that ferocious D is back. It's tough with one and done guys who are so talented, but so young too. The Coogs are beginning to really roll, and I don't expect it to stop until we cut down the nets in Indy.
Hope Cenac can find the range. Coogs took their best shot and fought back. The fans have lost energy, and ISU looks a bit winded.
Terrible officiating. Pleta has just been ramming the **** out of everyone on both sides of the floor. If that was Tugler, he’d have fouled out already.
What a game. Cenac is MIA. Fleming was hot early and seemed to fade. Sharp was sharp. Uzan is dribbling too much. Liked the power dunk. ISU is annoying, won't quit coming. Going down to the wire. Shame that one team has to lose; both are playing their hearts out.
Flemings in the most talented player of the Sampson era, dude is lethal mid range and knows how to get to his spot
All Coogs have to do is cut out dumb turnovers and trade baskets. Come on, guys, you got this if you play smart.
