Don't get me too excited about a KD departure. He was already suspect with leadership and rising during big moments, but after FVV, the season was basically useless.

I actually thought Stone was smart for essentially chasing draft pics of teams that went after KD, it felt like he knew he was a chemistry killer and wanted to take advantage of it. swapping BKN picks for PHX, but the reality was he got lucky. If all you have is luck and no skill, eventually your luck runs out and your incompetence will show.

 

I think that’s right. But we have more guys. Regardless, we need to keep building and configuring the team. We are not contenders with all-NBA KD so we still have work to do.
