The path to victory for Dems in the upcoming midterms and in 2028 is a wide open layup. Reject AIPAC and Israel. Vow to seek accountability and punishment for those implicated in the Epstein files. You may not even have to actually push any progressive policies. These two items alone could get you past the finish line. Am I wrong? @astros123 @glynch @Nook
Nope he’s Asian. It’s one of the main reasons he disliked J Lin. It’s because he went to Harvard, better looking, more money, better athlete etc. So Tinman can’t stand the dude.
Real Rockets fans know Rockets history breh @ROXRAN @Space Ghost @Salvy @Os Trigonum @RB713 thank goodness Morey realized his mistakes
I think that the party that dominates the next decade in politics in the USA - is going to be the party that focuses on domestic issues. That isn't to say that the USA should crawl into a hole like pre-WWI. However the discussions and focus should be on things like finding and pushing affordable childcare options for parents - increasing benefits for women that have children or want to stay home. Passing legislation to make homes more affordable and increasing home ownership. Move away from identity politics - and extreme positions, and focus on opportunity politics...... the Democrats also need mend fences with people that are somewhat religious, be they Christian, Muslim or Jew.
The real estate market and laws are different from state to state and city to city. There’s plenty of affordable housing in Louisiana @basso @Salvy @ROXRAN @RB713
I absolutely agree. The issue is there's not many current politicians focusing on these items. Or if they claim to plan on tackling things such as affordability, they're not able to coherently describe a legible way to achieve said goals. I believe that's why Mamdani's campaign was so effective. Aside from his likeable persona and their brilliant marketing strategy, for every policy he ran on he had a simple, digestible solution to achieve it. And by doing so he put confidence in the voter base that he can and will accomplish those things. Still, I think taking a pro-Palestinian stance is crucial at this point. Last time I checked ~80% of democratic voters held an unfavorable view on Israel and their genocide.
