    The real plague are the biased extremist journalists with virtually no ethics. Journalism is pretty much dead as a reliable or primary source of information. Some influencers will actually be more honest and reliable.

    It kind of does because you have a bunch of ameture yahoos trampling all over the crime scene and muddying the waters. It generates a ton of noise in the signal the investigators are tracking. Cops have to spend time doing things like, for instance, trying to convince the yahoos over and over that there really isn't a prime suspect, like their favorite podcasters just made up. All of that stuff takes away from the actual investigation and muddies the waters.

    I'm not trying to argue but I would suspect the actual crime scene is closed. Its a public area anyway in terms of the area around her home.

    Why do they have to convince the yahoos of anything?
