    Le Peep.

This place BLOWS! Its a glorified Denny's in disguise...... The food blows, the wait service blows, and the smell blows.

    Yuck...... I feel like ass........

Last time I went in there the food had gone down a little.

The Southern Benny used to be a GREAT breakfast.

"Le Peep" just sounds way too french to be any good.

What kind of girlie name is that? No man should be seen in that restaurant.

    Arby's? Le Peep?

I find your choice of restaurants disturbing.

Le Peep used to be the shizznit... They used to have a restaurant downtown near the Four Seasons, that was an awesome breakfast spot (they're known more for their breakfasts than their lunches). I haven't been in years and from these reviews it looks like I may never return.

in 1986 I went to Le Peep with some friends at their suggestion. The food sucked, and the price was too high, but by far we got the worst service I'd ever experienced at a restaurant (other than fast food). I left a 15 cent tip at the bottom of a glass of water and swore I'd never go back.

    ...I've never been back.

Man, Mrs JB and I go there every couple of weeks for breakfast and love it. To each his own I guess.

Le Peep for breakfest is the bomb. I don't think I've had a better omlette anywhere else is Houston.

Are all locations the same? There is one by where I used to work at on Greenbriar, another by my gf's apartment on Westcreek/Westhimer, and numerous others i see around town. Ive always wanted to go just to check it out, but may think twice.

I imagine it would depend on location on quality.

Time of day also matters, I'm guessing, Drewdog, you were there for lunch.:) If someplace doesn't run a good lunch, beware! Lunch is usually when the best cooks and servers are on shift.

It was good last time I was there, which may have been a few years ago. I've only been to the one in the Rice Village.

A long time ago I went to the one on Westheimer and Wilcrest. Who was in there? Matt Maloney.

And you are right...the place has a bad smell to it.

She could have tried to give you a thousand fortune cookies for lunch.

    Whatever happened with that?
