    With the kerfuffle over Greenland/ Denmark and World War on the horizon is it time to sink some money in tulip futures?

    I bet the market closes up despite the hype of an impending trade war apocalypse.

    to my amateurish eyes, not yet;

    it's recent 160-point decline, ~25%, has closed the 391 - 410 gap, trying to find support there.
    don't think it has hit the floor yet. next earnings will be ~~~~ 4-29-'26

    never knew what PLTR did.

    But it has come to my attention that PLTR's recent price decline, since Aug 2025, correlates to
    the lessening of ICE presence / deployment of national guards not requested by the states

    AAPL is trading ~~~ 272.7

    my analysis says that---going forward to the first triple-witching for 2026---it will be traded below 260

    using 3-20 expiration, first triple witching, sold this bearish CALL spread on AAPL. a 20-point spread.

    • buy to open the 287.5 strike CALL contract, sell to open the 267.5 strike CALL contract
    • collect a premium in advance of $9.05
      • defining my max risk of $10.95
    risking $10.95 to win $9.05

    on close of business, 3-20-26, should AAPL close below $267.5, i get to keep the $9.05 premium

    used the $9.05 premium collected to defray the cost of this PUT on AAPL

    • buy to open the $170 strike PUT---using May expiration---costing $10.88
      • net cost of $1.83 (10.88 - 9.05)
