Threes and layups..................moreyball. D'Antoni didn't run that in Phoenix

D'Antoni wasn't the first coach to run it either; Kevin McHale was

We are not championship material as currently constituted… mainly due to injuries to FVV and Adams. Teams around us are improving at the deadline. Standing pat means we fall back. Disappointing, given KD’s window isn’t long.

I never said he was, I said he was the first who made it plausible, the McHale years we were never true contenders. Daryl had the philosophy, he couldn't have coached the team to make it work though, you give him too much credit. He was the theory, D'Antoni and Harden were the practical. Neither Mike nor Daryl could've done it at all without Beard though, his talent deserves by far the most credit, and it's not close.

Didn't we have the second seed under McHale? it was that we just ran into an all-time great Warriors team.

Did you watch us at that time? We weren't a real competitor, we were just the best of the losers. In the D'Antoni years we actually were.

This team isn't making it out of the first round with the way of playing. Both Sengun and Durant seem put of it. Now if they are hurt then sit them down. I would rather lose with people 100 percent then watch whatever the hell is on the floor now. Embarrassing.

I have watched since the 80's. You have to be in it to win it. We lost the first 2 games by under 5 points. We were a competitor. We had our chances.
