He is also close to Mike Rubin, and he has advised him well, not really Rich Kleinman + KD level, but hes made above average financial decisions for an athlete. His BodyArmor investment returned him over 4,000%. $200M from Adidas + $450M from basketball so far, handful of other major sponsorships, I don't think its just about money, I think he just wants a ring desperately. His Adidas deal is ending soon too, I can see them extending it as his line has done pretty well. Clippers have been doing better, but they are not winning with that team. Kawhi can go down again at any moment, even with Kawhi healthy its not enough.

 

I'm on the fence. I've gone on the record multiple times saying no thank you. If there was a time it would be now seeing as we need a point and he's not that far over the hill where he can still contribute something. He's not 2012-2016 Harden though. His killer instinct in the playoffs is nonexistent. I still say to have a player of his caliber we shouldn't have needed to rely on Josh Smith and Dwight Howard, Jason Terry and Corey Brewer for that comeback. At least he was cheering them on though. It'll just take to much to get him. don't want to lose young players for a player that didn't and probably still don't want to be here. To be fair to him he looking to compete for a championship now, so are we but I think he's looking for sure thing. Nothing wrong with that.

 

Rockets would easily give him a 2/80 deal. We don't have cap space anyway and we need to maximize KDs window.
