OKC has their picks....so extending him does nothing, they may as well be mediocre until they control their draft assets again. Otherwise they are just tanking to benefit another team. Hell nah, I'd be a petty ass owner and would keep my team as mediocre as possible so that another team can't benefit off of my failures.

Honestly if he goes out east he has a better chance of winning it all. Just because of how bad the east is.
I am so past James Harden on this team. He's been gone 5 years and just seems like a malcontent wherever he goes. I enjoyed what he brought here but really does not fit our identity and despite needing his playmaking and offense, I don't think he's a good role model for the younger guys.
This is also about the Clips refusing to make any deals to improve the team. James has carried that team every season and was snubbed as an all star because of the allegations. Quite simply, James wants a chance to win and not just go through the motions with an ambivalent Kawhii. I know shams keeps discussing Garland, but the timberwolves are calling often. I'm watching for that based on contracts and talent. Depending on how things go, this looks like it could be a 3 team deal. #FreeNic
I just don’t think it’s a three team deal if James is going to the Cavs. The salary with Garland’s lined up so well. Clippers might throw in a future swap perhaps but that’s pretty much the deal to me.
