Well that’s a good point. Trading Durant would be a big reputational hit for the Rockets with players and agents. I don’t think it is even remotely being considered. In fact, I don’t think anyone other than Tari is on the block. If they make a trade (and they should) it will be with draft compensation. Most likely it is for Alvarado with a lightly protected pick and filler.

They’re all college superstars until they’re NBA busts. I’d pump the brakes on the quality of this draft class until they hit the league. Reminder - the quality of the NCAA game is as poor as it’s ever been due to NIL money and the transfer portal. The college COVID-era 5th or 6th year starter that these guys are playing against would be in the league already if they could play. Also, why on EARTH would you want ANOTHER high draft pick on this roster just so they have to go through Ime’s developmental BS.

 

He's 18 the odds are he gets better greatly outweigh that he is at his peak right now.

Our nets pick is in 27. We don’t have a draft pick this year, but I would pay dearly for one.

 

If we still have the picks I world highly consider trading Reed and one of the 27 picks for Flemings. And I love Reed.

 

Unfortunately, we gave it back to them for Suns picks. I still hate that move to this day.

It will take Reed and at least the Phoenix and NJ picks to get top 3. i dont know where Flemings will fall.
