That’s over the top. Sometimes he plays great defense, but he takes entire games off at times as well. Memphis was a good example of him taking a game off. If Ime keeps playing him 40 mins a game, he won’t be able to guard anyone by the playoffs. He is old for a basketball player. He is a good shot blocker and a good help defender. Not so much on the perimeter (which is not unusual for a 7 footer).
Agree with this take. He's a good help defender. Does a good job against most 4s at the POA, but can struggle with quicker players.
Kevin Durant is the franchise player no matter what team he is on. Added him to the Warriors stacked team, still the best player and 2 - Time Finals MVP over Steph, the league darling no less. Add him to the Olympics stacked team even including LeBron, still, #1 guy on the team. If anyone thinks one of the young 20 year old guys is more of the franchise player than Durant then you shouldn't talk basketball.
The whole franchise thing is overblown. You need 2 to 3 all-star level players to win a championship. Durant is 37 years old, how long can he be our “franchise” player. It doesn’t matter, I’m glad we have him for the price we paid. Now let’s find a backup 3 point shooting guard.
I guess you think his defensive rating is BS. Good shot blocker. Correct. Good help defender. Correct. So explain his elite FG against - it means he is elite defensively against anyone who he is covering. Doesnt mean he never gets beaten. Doesn’t mean he is going 100% on every possession. Amen Thompson is an elite defender and he gets beaten and doesn’t go 100§ on every possession. But the sum total of KDs defensive work is he is a great defensive player this year. There is no objective or subjective measure where KD is not a plus plus defender.
Yeah but he's not Amen so that guy doesn't see any of that and just thinks he's in the way of Amen being crowned "the star" without even looking like the second best player on the team atm.
I'ma need a bit more than random people posting random **** from random accounts...it's a bit sketch as "exposes" go tbh
I don’t know if that’s real but that screenshot about Jabari is so funny man lmaoo he sounds like a CF poster
lol I have no idea if it’s him but wouldn’t be surprising. https://www.thescore.com/nba/news/1941486 Kevin Durant was caught using burner accounts to defend himself on Twitter in 2017, but that hasn't deterred him from maintaining an undercover presence on social media. "I'm still gonna do the burner thing. I'm still gonna do that," Durant said. "Certain people, I'mma come back on my regular account," Durant explained. "But if I'm just trying to do my thing, I want to dip in, you know what I mean? I got the burner ... I just slipped up that one time."
simplify that it’s probably him or those and frankly, I don’t really have a lot of problems with the tweets. I don’t think he should sit there and disparage his teammates, but some of the messaging is not inaccurate. a lot of the time this year when he’s brought the ball up and then just ****ed up. I don’t even blame him for it. I just figured it’s bad coaching or maybe us getting them ready for when that scenario does occur later on in the season.
