Disney has premiered the full-length trailer for “The Muppet Show,” the return of the iconic TV series, for a special event set to air on February 4th on Disney+ and ABC.

Kermit, Miss Piggy and the beloved Muppet gang are back and bringing music, comedy, and a whole lot of chaos as The Muppets once again take the stage of the original Muppet Theatre.

Alex Timbers directs the special, with the episode’s very special guest star to be pop princess Sabrina Carpenter. Seth Rogen and Maya Rudolph also appear.

Veteran Muppet performers Bill Barretta, Dave Goelz, Eric Jacobson, Peter Linz, David Rudman, and Matt Vogel will perform the majority of the iconic Muppet characters in this production.

Carpenter, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Alex McAtee, David Lightbody, Leigh Slaughter, Michael Steinbach, Albertina Rizzo, Matt Vogel, and Eric Jacobson executive produce.

The one-off comes ahead of the celebrated show’s 50th anniversary on September 5th and fans can first rewatch all five seasons of the classic 1970s variety show series on the Disney+ streaming service.

It's the ****ing Muppets, if you can't at least say "hell yeah why not?" then you have some sort of childhood deficiency that can't be fixed on or by the internet.

The Muppets belong to a more innocent time. In this current environment they are vapid and anachronistic. We'd need to have Zach Snyder's Broody Tortured-Soul Marvel's The Punisher Muppets for the public to get on board.

They already tried revving them for the modern age in like 2015 and it didn't succeed because it didn't fit modernity. I wish them the best of luck, but I don't see it succeeding. So many of the vaudeville references, and even slightly more modern things like far out 1970's hippy band Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem are dated and kids won't have context for what the show is supposed to be.

And without the kids, it's just nostalgia for old people.

This thing will 100% fail. Pathetic move by a very desperate Disney.

I enjoyed that 2015 version. Guess I'm just old.

It got 1 season and was canceled. I'm not saying it was good or bad, but it didn't generate enough support to get renewed. A whole bunch of my favorite TV shows of all time have suffered the same fate.

    It's all about the ratings.
