I am in East Texas, and the temperature in Denver for the game today is the SAME as here. Go Broncos! If a backup QB beats the Pats, how is that going to look for CJ? Doesn't matter; the CJ performance is unredeemable.
I think the entire USA outside of New England wants the Broncos to win, but it ain't gonna happen. This is for a trip to the Super Bowl and the Pats won't be taking anything for granted. Assuming they win, I hope the NFC champion blows them out. It can be argued both franchises have a revenge motive.
Two different game plans for the Pata defense. Two different lines. DEN actually has a run game and not relying on a 3rd string TE. CJ will be fine.
Ok so I was completely wrong about DEN being an easy dub this week. Sean Payton is going to put the pieces together. Too healthy. Too stacked. Mims Jr may be concussed though.
CJ has nothing to do with this. However, to answer your question. Super Bowl winning Coach and Playcaller. Denver has a run game that the Pats have to respect. The Pats played 2 high Safeties so the Texans couldn't go over the top, especially with no Nico. You just saw Denver just go over the top because they are loading up on the run game because that is what they expect Denver to do with the backup QB. Leaves 1 on 1 on the receivers.
Nice job by the Pats PR to deke the coverage guy or else he had a shot at downing that ball at the goalline
