HEB is madness. Meanwhile, my local Randall’s has like 4 people in it. No idea how they stay in business
Same for Kroger. I dove past my HEB where the parking lot was packed and drove to Kroger a mile down the road and parked close to the entrance. No empty shelves. Eggs, bread, TP isles looked like they always do, fully stocked.
Does anyone else ever wonder why so many Somalians moved here? Did they leave Somalia and were like, anywhere but the desert? Did they see black and white photos and think it was sand not snow? -21. F that.
That looks colder than the Rockets 3PT shooting Im afraid your going to need hundreds of Kevin Durants to get warm enough to melt through that.
houston somewhat survived 2021. i think we'll be alright. as long as people don't be dumb and be outside.
Woke up to the sound of thunder and it's 31 degrees with a heavy mix (Richmond/north Sugar Land area).
no more rain/sleet means companies gonna make people go into to work tomorrow that's most likely including me. gonna see a lot of accidents in the morning sigh.........
I have a friend with a fireplace she uses for challenging times like these. She bought and moved a bunch of wood close to her patio door so she could run out and get more if needed. Now that the storm has put the ice and snow down, and combined it with 9-20 degree temps for a couple of days, her patio door is frozen shut and so is her garage door. The only way to get more is to go out through the front, slosh through ice and snow, go to the backyard and return. I can't stop laughing. I hope she survives, of course, but I can't stop laughing.
Just showered and turned off my water. Will do the same thing tomorrow. Dripped my faucets last night. I don't play since we've had pipes burst 5 times in our house.
