If Stroud can’t get down the field on the first drive he needs to be benched. If not, it’s a travesty.

Personally, I wouldn’t even give him that. I would go Mills to start the 2nd half, and it would be an easy choice.

 

Failed and the Dline don't belong in the same sentence.

 

That's the worst thing. I can't stop seeing his goofy face laughing at that Steelers fan as he walked out og Heinz field after being carried by the defense.

 

Fans gotta hope Good Stroud shows up 2nd half. Or, at least not, Sabotage Stroud.

Patriots decided to stuff run, and dared CJ to beat them. Correct decision on turnover prone QB

 

Stroud is shook which is showing some mental weakness which is not good for someone we hoped was a franchise QB. Just awful decisions that are the reason the Texans are down. Wondering if all those hits and concussions the first 3 years has something to do with his rapid regression. Not making excuses because his play in the playoffs this year is inexcusable. This game is far from over, it just feels tough.

 

How did New England go from awful to an outstanding OL in two years?

We’re trapped

 

1) Meco in CJ's a$$ in the lockerroom at the half
2) Caley let CJ call for rollout if the Pats are showing blitz
3) Get the MFn playmakers (Noel) in... stop with the college hierarchy sh!!t. Barrios is not instilling confidence.
4) if we don't score a TD (not a FG) in the 3rd or if CJ makes another soft a$$ INT, then Mills
5) gotta find better blocking solutions (easier said than done). It's why I am calling for rollouts (the field conditions are not ideal for rollouts, but it can buy time to make a throw,,, it looks like CJ is having a GD panic attack in the pocket RN. Get him in space and let him work.)
6) No more running up the gut shyt... Andrew is getting crushed. Either run it outside or let CJ scramble / run.
7) Need to stack positive plays for the offense RN. They need confidence and defense needs confidence in the O (otherwise they are going to start doing dumb ish when they get frustrated)

Agreed, but it is what it is.

 

If CJ Stroud had only thrown every single pass into the stands, the game would be close enough right now to where you could put in Mills and still have a chance, unfortunately, he was just too terrible for that to be a realistic possibility.
