Was the Wonderlic test that used to be given at the NFL combine a form of an IQ test? "Yes, the Wonderlic Test given at the NFL Combine was essentially a timed "IQ test" or cognitive ability assessment, designed to measure general intelligence, problem-solving, and learning aptitude quickly, though it's more accurately a cognitive ability test rather than a pure IQ score. It assessed skills like math, vocabulary, and logic under pressure, similar to IQ tests, but focused on practical job-related thinking, though the NFL has since stopped using it. " Before you "mock" another poster, do your homework.
Did Marino ever play on a Super Bowl caliber team? That being said last week was the first time I questioned Stroud's mentality but not aptitude. Its funny Watson's career has crashed so badly because Watson not only never had a game like that, few good quarterbacks have but in terms of value, looking back, Watson clearly elevated the Texans. He was a gamer, his mobility and athleticism is exceptional and you never questioned if he could have done more after a game
You've got to be kidding me. Watson got a lot of hate for not doing more. Also several QBs that are Hall of Famers have had games like Stroud did last week. Favre, Peyton, Elway, Warner, Marino, etc., all in the playoffs.
He did the S2 which is NOT the Wonderlich but thanks for coming to the table again. you literally contributed nothing. @raining threes not sure why you even liked it when I assumed you had better football knowledge.
Are you saying Watson should have done more or the hate was unwarranted? Playing badly is one thing or missing throws is one thing, not catching snaps is another Those guys never did that in playoff games if at all. Twice in a game!
We cannot waste this historically good defense with CJ Stroud’s poor play. A league average QB would be enough to guide us to the Super Bowl. Cut our losses, bring in a decent game manager QB, and use the money elsewhere! I
Paging scarface, hlmbasketball, tmac, heynow ric, all stroud defenders “Yeah but his defense let him down, his OL let him down, his WRs let him down, his RBs let him down, his OC let him down, his HC let him down, his GM let him down, other than that, he’s been great! Not his fault!” @Bobbythegreat
It's over, bench CJ and ship him out, i dont even want him in a texans uniform anymore after the half.
