Me thinks Tillman went the budget route hiring assistant coaches and developmental staff.

Udoka got a budget for him and his staff. He took 99% of it and hired middle school coaches to fill out the rest. 25k a year salary.

 

He put the money into infrastructure and practice facility but that is not everything.

100% and I have to turn the sound off watching every home game because some loser in the stands screams like a mental case “Let’s Go Rockets” and “Defense” right into the crowd placed microphone. No other team has crowd microphone and clock issues consistently. Feels like Tillman goes cheap on a lot of things. He even has a lawyer as a GM to save him money on contracts.
