It makes sense though since IME DGAF about offense. So he was probably pounding the table for another defensive center and a three and D wing.

These late game lineups with no shooters are just funny to me.

Agreed, but the fans that wanted it will just make excuses and scapegoats. Phoenix with Brooks is right next to us in the standings and Green hasn't played yet.

We'll see what happens the next few years, hoping for the best as a fan.

i can‘t talk about hockey but growing up in a football (soccer) country i can tell you, football is just the same as basketball. Your goalie can‘t be trash but the overall balance of the team is important. If you suck at attacking, you win nothing. Defense only teams died out around 2008. if you can’t score, you will lose. 90
Minutes of pressure on your goal, somethings bound to go in at some point.

Oh, get serious! KD was never intended to be the final piece on a championship team. KD was brought in to address the outside shooting deficit that was exposed last year. They did not address their issues at the guard position with his signing.

It looks like we've built a team of those guys 1-5 and keep wishing we luck into good offense.

 

I believe shooting is related to coaching. Magics are historically bad three point team and they gave away their future to get Desmond Bane who is 40% 3pt shooter to shoot his career low soon as he put on Orlando jersey. Jordan Ott was assistant coach that handler Cavs offense last season and they were shooting lights out but this season as Suns coach he’s team is shooting lights out while Cavs are struggling soon as he departed as offensive coordinator. Right now Ime does not have concrete offensive plan so I would start with replacing Ben Sullivan who is in charge of offense and our shooting development

 

Even after shooting poorly we were right there. A culmination of not scoring after we get the ball off a TO, missing paint shots (amen), poor defense especially on transition, not scoring in transition lost us the game.

If i were udoka i would keep running fast break drills for both ends.
