People forget, Jalen had a good regular season but a horrible FIRST playoff series. I thought the Rockets pulled the trigger too early. Should've given that team another yr
The schedule is a factor, of course, but Ime should be under scrutiny. The double big lineup is not giving us an advantage anymore. The spacing is diabolical and the rebounding is not there.
Imagine claiming the Rockets wouldn't miss FVV. Imagine proclaiming post after post that you know basketball, and come up with something as stupid as that. Then go and add to it that Sengun ignores Sheppard, when the stats say the opposite. God damn that guy is pretty quite about his proclamation that the Rockets wouldn't miss a point guard right now.
Plain and simple. Reed can't guard, teams go directly at him. Could you imagine him playing for Kelvin Sampson? I couldn't either
Lol, it is not Jalen, they should have gotten Malik Monk when they had the chance. Stephon Castle was a Can't Miss.
Poor FT shooting and lose rebound game = formula of Rockets losing. It doesn't help Jabari is 4 for 300000000 in 3 pt FG. It won't be long before KD takes a sabbatical.
It's the same damn team lol. We gave up Dillon, a career role player that is having a fantastic season, and Green who has been injured all season and either way we all hated his inconsistency. Do you guys have amnesia?
I was a card-carrying member of the Jalen fan club and I thought it was a good trade for KD. I was wrong, because basketball isn’t played on paper and I assumed it was. Too late now, though. I hope this home stretch will help the team iron out some mistakes. I’ve vented enough that I’m not as pissed and I’m just sad now
I agree, which is why I was so negative on the KD trade in the first place. But at the time, most were for it. If you have caution about playing 37 yr old KD nearly 40 min a night, why trade for him?
They need to have a team meeting and figure things out. Maybe the shooting will fix itself at home is really all that can be said.
I'll never understand the logic to stop tanking when we didn't draft a generational player. Right now Stone is hoping on Jabari turning into an all-star (lmao), Amen finding a jumper (impossible), Sengun turning into Jokic (will never happen). This team is hopeless and will just be mediocre for the next 5 year until Tilman Jr. finally realizes Stone facilitated a poor rebuild and we blow it up. Basically, we're wasting a decade of basketball watching this mediocre team.
