Eh. Playing on the road, in an amped environment, with an experienced team and a HoF QB who might have 60 minutes left in his arm (or, probably more accurately, 2-3 great throws)... I think they're going to win. But I'd feel soooooooooooooo much better if they were at home. Having to travel is just enough of an unknown to slightly worry me.
Yeah this was my thought about the results of the Ravens and Steelers game. Do you want to play against Lamar and his legs or Rodgers and his IQ and experience? It's a pick your poison type of thing. But I preferred not wanting to play Lamar. He's always making plays with his legs and extending drives on key 3rd and 4th down situations. Incredibly frustrating for a defense to have to handle. If Aaron Rodgers has a masterclass game against the Texans and is picking them apart at this stage in his career I can live with that more easily.
Unless they don't choke and just get beat. Sports happen sometimes. But that's not gonna happen this time.
I just don't like sitting around until Monday night. You know who likes prime time football games? Communists, that's who.
All I know is the Texans need to stomp the dog spit outta them bums and sack rickety Rodgers ten times. Don't just win, humiliate them in front of their fans. Scorched Earth. No Quarter.
That's funny but not lol! That was a particularly painful stretch of 3 consecutive playoff game 4th quarter collapses. I drank way too much after that last loss.
Texans aren't a team that blows other teams out. We couldnt' do it to LA even though we got up to a 14-0 lead. It would be very surprising if the game is how you want it to be.
I think that’s how you lose in the NFL. If I was coaching I’d tell the team that the Steelers wanna evict their moms from their homes. Lean in and beat the **** out of them. Do that every single week from here on out. It’s 1 loss and your season is over. Take them all so seriously. SWARM
This and the whole Swarm thing is so corny. What team isn't facing adversity and trying to gang tackle? SMH.
It's funny listening to Bill Simmons and Joe House pick once again against the Texans in the playoffs. They picked both the Browns and Chargers to blow us out the last 2 years. After both games, they just called them weird games and didn't really acknowledge how bad their picks were.
