However it’s the long game here that some people from Venezuela are not thinking about as much as they probably should and that’s probably why you don’t see mass celebration in the streets instead of what we have now which is mostly Venezuelans in the US celebrating in smaller groups and some fairly limited responses. Some will celebrate but understandably I think the majority of them behind the scenes that you DONT see are concerned rightfully so about what happens tomorrow.

Here’s how this is a win-win for Trump: Short-term, US refineries (Houston is a big one) are going to ramp up to process this oil. That means blue-collar jobs, which for culture war bullshit reasons, vote for a billionaire city boy con man who’s never done an honest minute’s work in his life and doesn’t even know how to pronounce groceries. As the Venezuela refineries get rebuilt, the cost of labor will be massively lower and the environmental restrictions will be nonexistent. Future corporations and their shareholders will benefit. Timing-wise, this might be past the 2028 election cycle.
-Refineries are already running at 90% utilization. Theyll just swap imported Saudi oil for Venezuelan oil. There's no extra Refinery capacity for them to utilize hence it wont create any sort of job boom - it'll cause a massive oil recession in west Texas which will lead to the opposite of what you're claiming as working class voters will get hit the hardest
