    Beast.

Now averaging 18, 7, and 5 on 52% shooting, and shooting 80% from the FT line.

Only missing piece of his game right now is to become a respectable 3P shooter on a few attempts a game. He does that, he's a perennial all-star. Encouraging that he knocked a couple down tonight even though one of them was in and out and back in.

I was told he was a problem and underperforming.

Still the guy with the most potential on the team. Glad he’s trending up. Encouraging that he knocked down a couple of threes.

He's doing it how I said he should -

Rebound and go, attack the rim early in possessions, otherwise assume the dunkers spot and feast off of the double teams on Sengun & Durant, for the most part.

Right now, that's the best version of Amen.

There is something 'age 21/22 Giannis' about Amen this year. Honestly, I think Giannis is the closest comparison for Amen in terms of a guy who never developed into the elite shooter, but expanded his range enough and otherwise figured out ways to score utilizing his physical advantages. The thing that really opened up Giannis' game is surrounding him with shooters and putting the ball in his hands in a spread offense but those Bucks teams didn't have a young baby Jokic on the roster as well so I don't necessarily think Amen is going to get there because I have a hard time seeing the team sacrificing Alpi's touches to grow Amen more like Giannis.
