Yes, we have to win. I do not want to rely on other teams losing to make the playoffs. Now do we need them to win? Probably not.

 

We would still control our own destiny in making the playoffs because we have tiebreaker over colts and ravens. Is there some scenario where steelers are wildcard and we dont have tiebreaker over them? Its not a must win

When you start 0-3, you lose the luxury of resting guys because the late season climb never ends. Playoffs are not clinched, you put your best foot forward until you do.

This isn't about the luxury of resting guys. Stingley has been fighting that oblique injury for weeks now, and with any muscle injury, true rest is the only way to recover. And Marks is dealing with an ankle injury that would get better with a little time off. Losing either of those guys for an extended time this late in the season would be an abject disaster. I'm not advocating to sit them as healthy scratches, but they wouldn't be healthy scratches. We have to take our moments to heal when we get them.

 

Hate counting on other teams to do some dirty work but please win Denver and New England.
