    I found it entertaining even though I've never been a huge fan of IT in general, thought it was solid but yeah the general's story arch was silly overall.....

    I like all the connections to other King Books
    I feel like the world building is great

    im two episodes in and enjoying it so far. there are some really genuinely creepy/scary scenes in episode 2. the birthing/dead mom scene and grocery store aisle/pickled head. good stuff.

    i think i know where theyre going with the military tie-in. not sure if it needs to go there, but ill keep an open mind.

    i do have a bit of a quibble with the kids dialogue and the way its written..its not how kids talk. the movies definitely nailed the pre-teen vernacular and way of talking. they are not doing that here. its almost like they wrote it as if they were adults and then the actors are trying too hard to read it that way, if that makes sense.. it just comes off akward, imo.
