Off topic, but of the same era -

I swear when I was a kid in the 80's, I had a friend with an "Akeem" poster (before he was Hakeem) that had had a second middle name. Akeem Abdul [something] Olajuwon. I want to say it was something like "Abola" but it appears to have been scrubbed from history. I can find no reference.

It's possible I slipped over into a different timeline at some point without noticing.

 

They called him Akeem for at least his rookie year until he corrected them.

I only recall "Abdul" being his middle name. He did have a daughter named Abisola, so maybe you're thinking of her. lol.
