Tbh I don’t pay attention to this cup ****, what does it do?

Group C has a lot of great teams. The winner of this group will have achieved their best.

 

We could win it... I just don't care as much. I want us to be at our best going into the playoffs.

Nobody gives a flying **** about the "NBA Cup". Yeah, we need wins, but screw the League's marketing ploy.

 

Why is it so difficult to create a basketball court that stands out but doesn't give you a migraine.

That court's giving me flashbacks to the eighties.

 

Can they stop that eye-sore floor thing? I understand that they want to differentiate the atmosphere from the regular games. But can't they design something more elegant?

 

2nd, after the Nuggets in a very tight race. IME made a huge mistake last night. Should have kept the starters in to push the Diff.

I want to care. I’m trying to care. But I just don’t care for made up NBA bullsh#t.

 

Last year all the cup did was make us have a harder regular season schedule. We played OKC like 5 times…. Probably better to not make the cup and get worst teams to improve our seeding.

 

It makes early seasons games a little more interesting and competitive. Yes, some teams still get blown out, but they’re playing for something extra for those games so theoretically they’ll be a tiny bit more motivated as compared to an early season game. It’s natural in an 82 game series for teams to be a little more casual in the first quarter of the season vs the last quarter. I know you know this. But this is literally what I texted my dad last night when he texted me asking why the court was so ugly lol. Told him abt the cup, and he said “what, playing for $40-50m isn’t enough motivation?” Haha


He’s def right abt the courts. It’s like watching a Boise state game. My eyes are not pleased. I find them to be more reflective of the above ads and distracting. Just use normal wood color and a cup logo. We don’t need special courts. That’s cheesy.

 

That's why I didn't hate the first loss. I would rather our extra games be Utah and Memphis instead of LAL and OKC

 

I find it comical for the people that come in here and are stating they don't care about the Cup. You know what bros, then this isn't the thread for you. Don't waste your time here with those of us that care a little about the tournament. It's fun for us. I get it, not your cup of tea, marketing ploy by Silver, whatever, just don't post and just enjoy the general game thread lol.
