Didn't look ice cold in the Super Bowl. He looked absolutely defeated from the 1st quarter on.

CJ looked nothing like Mahomes in anyway.

Let's suppose the Jets get the #1 pick and offer it to us for Stroud. Would you make that trade?

Not at the glamour positions (QB/RB/WR) but someone in the ~top-10 picks will be a HOF.

    The question is who.

Yeah I could see that. But if we’re trading a QB in this scenario, I’d like to be in a draft with a top prospect.

Then, in my scenerio, we *don't* trade the starting QB

    In a heartbeat.

A QB on his rookie deal is worth his weight in gold.

As long as he's not a bust.

Only 4 teams since 2005 have won superbowls with a QB on a rookie deal: Steelers, Giants, Seahawks, and Chiefs. Only 1 in the last Decade. It is a myth that it is best for a team. Having an effective Veteran QB is more important.

Starting over is a dumb idea.

4 teams in 20 years is actually a good ratio.
How many have won with a max level contract at QB?

He still has concussion symptoms. Mills will start again.

    Brady
    Roethlisberger
    Manning
    Other Manning
    Brees
    Rodgers
    Flacco
    Wilson
    Foles
    Mahomes
    Stafford
    Hurts

Not sure which 4 were on rookie contracts (Wilson, Mahomes, Other Manning, Hurts?). Also don't know don't care what their contracts were, I'd be more interested in knowing what % of the cap they took up.

I forgot what the percentage is, but there’s a number that there’s only been 1 Super Bowl winner I believe that was over that percentage.
And of that list, I believe Wilson, Manning, Roethlisberger and Mahomes won on rookie deals.
Also wouldn’t count Foles as a top tier contract, relatively speaking.

Didn’t Brady take less to stay under that percentage?
