    rozier and billups are accused of helping the mafia scam people.

    There is no evidence of Ohtani doing anything wrong other than losing millions of dollars and not noticing.

    I don’t get the ohtani hate other than him being a freak of nature playing for the evil empire. To me, he’s a likable LeBron James.

    Yeah I can’t even hate on him for going to the Dodgers either after wasting away on the Angels for his first six seasons. The Angels got a gift with him choosing them…we are lucky they are so damn incompetent that they screwed it up

    why arent his bankers in prison too for distributing unauthorized funds? or failing to KYC the participants? the claim is Ohtani was 'impersonated' but no bank is wiring out millions without all kinds of controls to verify

    Once again, he helped set the bank accounts up for Ohtani because he couldn’t speak English when he initially came over here. He called the bank impersonating Ohtani - there’s literally audio recordings of this that have been released to the public - and the control is they send a text to the phone number linked to the account. It was Ippei’s cell number as he helped set the accounts up initially.

    Why would the bankers go to prison for this? Lmao.
