Simi rebuild next year, Espada is the perfect manager for it.

Don’t hurt man. Cherish how lucky as fans we were to experience this generational run. We got reunited with Correa this year and that alone made the year for me! I think the team could easily return to stardom easily.

Have to get rid of Espada though. No juice on this squad.

Thankful for the run, but still really wish they could have got the two additional titles in '19 and '23 to cement their place in history.

The trade acquisitions have the talent just no clutch gene.

 

This may be blasphemy... but compared to Espada, Dusty wasn't so bad

 

Would have lost in the wildcard anyway.

 

Bottom 5 offense isn't going to get you anywhere. look at the texans.

 

They weren't a bad team this year by any means due to injuries.
But its obvious end of era is near, with Paredes, Walker, Correa as cheap bandaid roster
spots that didnt work out. I figure 1 or 2 of those guys gets traded.

But it should be interesting if Jim Crane cuts salaries, and or rebuilds.
Yordan Alvarez , Brown, Smith, and Pena face of the rebuild? or can you retool around these guys?

If next year they start out terrible, and attendance starts
to drop, see a plug come off the transaction wire, i see the Astros trading away salary for
picks and dead end contracts. Time to rebuild...

 

This was a down year across the league and for them to CHOKE away an easy division win - that is horrible coaching.

Hell he pullled Blughbaugh out tonight in the 4th when he could go one more inning for a ML win....why the hell not, the season is over...

Espada is a horrible manager.
